GoTime helps users monitor commute routes and receive notifications when travel time reaches a target duration.

Location data, including precise device location, when you choose to use your current location for route setup.
Route information you provide, such as origin and destination addresses, route name, travel time target, and monitoring time window.
Route coordinates, including latitude and longitude for origin and destination, when needed to calculate routes and monitor travel times.
Device or app identifiers, including an app installation identifier and push notification token, to support route monitoring and notifications.
App settings stored on your device, such as language, theme, notification, sound, and vibration preferences.

Calculate routes and estimated travel times.
Let you save and manage routes.
Start, sync, and stop route monitoring sessions.
Send push notifications related to route monitoring.
Remember your app preferences and settings.
Maintain app functionality and security.

How information is stored

Some information is stored locally on your device, including saved routes, route settings, and app preferences.

Some information is sent to backend services when needed to support active monitoring and push notifications, such as installation ID, push token, route details, and monitoring session data.

Third-party services

GoTime may use service providers to operate app features, including Google Maps Platform, Google Places services, and Firebase Cloud Messaging.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We do not share user data with third parties for advertising or marketing.

Permissions

Location permission, to use your current location as a route starting point and support route-related features.
Notification permission, to display route monitoring notifications and alerts.

Your choices

You can enter addresses manually instead of using current location.
You can disable notifications from your device settings.
You can stop active route monitoring at any time.
You can remove saved routes from within the app.

Data retention

Locally stored route and settings data remain on your device until you remove them or uninstall the app.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect data in transit and in storage. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

GoTime is not designed for children.
